The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Metro Moneywise Credit Union will take place on Wednesday 9th February at 5pm – and we hope as many of you as possible will join us! It’s a great chance to see how your credit union is performing and progressing, as well as giving you the opportunity to vote on our dividend and annual charitable donation.
To attend the meeting all you need to do is register your details here. You’ll receive the link in an email, so you can join on the day. All members’ mics and cameras will be off, so there’s no need to worry about doing your hair or muting the TV (and kids)!
A fully online event
After an online event in 2021, we were hoping to give members the option of attending the AGM in person as well as online. Due to covid infection rates remaining high, we have taken the decision to protect staff and members by keeping the event fully online.
We received some great feedback from last year’s online event with almost 80 members registering to attend and plenty of people saying they found it really informative. For many, it was their first time learning how a credit union works and what we do with your money.
While cameras and mics will be off, there will be a text chat function allowing you to ask questions throughout the AGM. Our staff team will be on hand to reply as quickly as they can!

We understand that not everyone has the time to attend the AGM. That’s why we’ve put together some easy-to-read highlights that show you how we are performing and outline some of our key achievements this financial year.
For those of you that like more detail, you can also view our financial accounts. These have been prepared by an independent external auditor, KM Business Solutions, and approved by the Board of Directors of the credit union.
We will talk about all of this and more at the online AGM on 9th February, as well as inviting members to vote on the annual dividend we pay on your savings and our annual charitable donation.
