You’re invited to our online Annual General Meeting (AGM) & Special General Meeting (SGM)

Metro Moneywise Credit Union would love to invite you to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Special General Meeting (SGM), taking place on Thursday 29 January 2026 at 4.00pm

What is an AGM?

The AGM is your chance to hear how your credit union has been doing, take part in live voting and ask any questions you may have – all from the comfort of your own home.

What is an SGM?

An SGM isn’t always required, but this one is taking place due to our proposed merger with The Money Co-op.

Once the AGM has concluded, we will move into the SGM. During this part of the meeting, members will be invited to ask any questions about the proposed merger before taking part in a vote to extend our common bond.

The extension of the common bond is what will allow the merger to go ahead. You can view the documents covering the proposed common bond changes using the buttons below.

How to attend

The meeting will be held online using GoTo Webinar, a secure and reliable platform hosted by ABCUL (the Association of British Credit Unions).

To join us, you’ll just need to register in advance by clicking the button below:

When registering, please enter your first name, last name, email address, and credit union membership number, then click the blue Register button. Registration is completely free.

Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Jackie Littlewood at ABCUL, which will include your personal link to join the meeting along with simple joining instructions.

You’ll also receive a reminder email with the joining link closer to the day.

What to expect

At the start of the meeting, we’ll explain how everything works so you can feel comfortable taking part.

• All attendees will be muted during the meeting

• You can submit questions at any time using the Question tab on your screen

• Questions will be answered live, during the Q&A, or afterwards if needed

• Voting will take place live, with results shown instantly

• A short practice vote will be held at the beginning so everyone can get familiar with the system

• Once the AGM is complete, we’ll move into the SGM

• A £100 prize draw for all attendees will take place at the end of both meetings
